About the role
Building Integrity, a leading construction company based in Melbourne VIC 3000, is seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.
What you'll be doing
Perform skilled carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, and finish work
Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to standard
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work and meet deadlines
Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other building components
Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
What we're looking for
Formal carpentry qualification or equivalent experience
Strong practical skills and experience in residential and/or commercial construction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
