We are looking for a motivated tradesperson who's ready to grow their skillset, build their industry experience, and become a valued part of our team in Coffs Harbour. Our ideal candidate is an entry-level qualified tradesperson.
The successful candidates will deliver high quality customer service with both internal and external clients and provide quality workmanship on all projects assigned. You'll bring a solutions-focused mindset, while being agile and adaptable to changes in scheduling, and delivering exceptional service to both customers and clients.
Duties and responsibilities
You will utilise your previous trade experience and knowledge as per below,
Your responsibility:
Everyday general duties that relate to your trades experience, ordering of materials, liaising with other trades, mentoring apprentices etc.
Scheduling & planning site works
Manage resource hours on site
Monitor and report on progress
Work closely with suppliers and contractors
Ensure and enforce safe work policy and procedures are adhered to
Communicate with customers, client, internal resources including administration staff/or construction team, suppliers, etc as required
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have to provide excellent customer service and successfully manage customer expectations. Your trade and organisational skills are vital to ensure all tasks are managed correctly, clearly communicated and recorded against the project.
Applicants must be able to work without supervision, as well as in a team oriented and collaborative environment. You will also have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to build strong relationships with our clients.
Requirements:
Australian working rights
Relevant Certificate III qualification in a trade (e.g. carpentry, painting, plastering, roofing) or equivalent experience
Current valid drivers license
Minimum 1 year of industry experience
Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task with a proactive mindset
Insurance Building Experience (desirable)
The successful candidate will have the willingness to develop, learn new skills, be adaptable to new environments and grow within the company.
