About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join our team at Meandu Mine. If you are passionate about operating big machinery and are looking for an opportunity to join a long-standing team closer to home, then we would love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience in any of the following (or equivalent):

• Komatsu 830-E
• Hitachi EH5000
• Cat 785, 789
• Cat 777 water truck

Please note that this is a Residential Mine - no camp accommodation or housing provided. As such this role would be best suited to current or returning residents of the Kingaroy and South Burnett region.

About You:

• Current Standard 11 (desired)
• Coal Board Medical (desired)
• Valid Driver's License
• Proven experience operating mining machinery outlined above via transcripts
• Safety focused with a high attention to detail
• A passion for operating big machinery with a positive 'can do' attitude!

Meandu Mine

BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation's Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station. We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.

Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.
