About the Role
Join a major infrastructure project as a Mechanical Fitter maintaining large diesel generators, engine trucks and auxiliary power systems. Working independently across site operations, you’ll perform servicing, breakdown response and preventative maintenance while supporting a safety-driven team environment. Accommodation provided with DIDO/FIFO options.
Skills & Experience
- Cert III Mechanical Fitting (or similar trade qualification)
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair capability
- Experience with diesel generators, heavy diesel or large engines
- Ability to work independently and within small teams
- Basic computer literacy and accurate documentation skills
Tickets & Licences
- Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Construction White Card
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical

- 2:1 roster – 12-hour shifts
- Fly-In: Thursday (non-working, unpaid)
- Fly-Out: Friday (non-working, unpaid)

- Bus transfer provided from Canberra to Cooma.
