Experience requirements: 

- Proven experience as a Centre Manager or higher position held in the Early Childhood profession

- Exceptional leadership skills & experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

- Effective communication skills for engaging with staff, clients, stakeholders and departments.

- Desire and willingness to learn and adopt the centres practices, polices and procedures.

- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse responsibilities 

- Possess excellent time management & accounting / financial skills

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written 

- The ability to liaise with all people at a high level of professionalism

- Strong understanding of educational policies, regulations, child safety and best practices

- Business experience 

Qualifications:

- Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education (or ACEQA approved Diploma)

- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

- Current First Aid and CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate

- Experience and knowledge of the Regulations / The National Quality Framework

- Child Protection & Safety Training

- Drivers Licence

- Current Police Check

- Food Safety Supervisor trained (preferred)

- Work, health and safety trained ( preferred)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the centre, children program & safety and high quality

- Build and maintain relationships with parents, careers, local community members and networks.

- Team Rostering & Centre event planning & delivery

- Focus and achieve centre’s KPI targets, financial administration and account management

- Manage new enrolments, centre tours, convert enrolments to increase centre’s occupancy

- Managing staff recruitment, training and performance evaluation to ensure high standard

- Follow & ensure implementation of current and updated centres policies and procedures

- Staff recruitment, training and performance evaluation to ensure high standard of staff

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements & national law

- Suggest and implement new and innovative ideas to deliver a very high standard of quality Education and Care service

- Nominated Supervisor & Responsible person
