The Role
We’re looking for a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) to lead structural certifications across a range of modular projects, including Class 1a, 5, and 9 buildings.
This is a career-building role offering autonomy, variety, and meaningful impact, not just volume output. Our client is looking to grow substantially over the coming years and is looking for someone to evolve with them.
Key Responsibilities
Certify structural designs for modular buildings (Class 1a, 5 & 9)
Ensure compliance with NCC, QBCC, and relevant Australian Standards
Collaborate with internal teams (design, drafting, manufacturing)
Optimise designs for structural integrity and transportability
Provide structural support during production and installation
Contribute to internal engineering processes and mentor junior staff
About You
RPEQ Registered – Structural (essential)
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Familiar with NCC and key structural standards (AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS/NZS 4600)
Experience in modular, prefabricated, or factory-based construction (highly regarded)
Strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a growing, collaborative business environment
