About the Role As an
Electronics Build Technician, you’ll be
assembling, testing, and
troubleshooting advanced electronic systems used in high-performance power conversion and charging products. Working closely with engineers and manufacturing specialists, you’ll help turn design concepts into functional, production-ready hardware.
Key responsibilities include: - Assembling and testing electronic systems, PCBs, and sub-assemblies.
- Performing high-quality soldering and component rework.
- Supporting prototype builds, test setups, and validation activities.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems.
- Assisting with continuous improvement of build and test processes.
About You: You’re a practical, detail-oriented technician who thrives on precision and problem-solving. You enjoy working with engineers and being part of an organisation that’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in energy technology.
To succeed, you’ll bring:
- Diploma or trade qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics and engineering drawings.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to your work.
Desirable: Experience with
Altium Designer or similar PCB design software, and an understanding of EMC and electrical safety principles.
