Centre Director / Centre Manager to lead the opening of a new, purpose-built early learning centre in Mickleham, that is incredibly well resourced! This is your chance to shape the culture, build your own team and bring your leadership vision to fruition with the trust and autonomy — right from day one.
You’ll be supported by a warm, approachable and upbeat area manager who provides guidance without micromanaging and a knowledgeable, compassionate state manager who leads with care and encourages a collaborative approach.
On site, you’ll have a full-time Assistant Director to share operational responsibilities and a dedicated Educational Leader to champion curriculum and programming — giving you more time to focus on inspiring your team and creating a high-quality learning environment.

- Drive a positive workplace culture that reflects the centre’s values.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, regulations and policies.
- Manage staff rostering, budgets and financial reporting.
- Partner with families to build strong, positive relationships.
- Support the development and implementation of high-quality programs through collaboration with your Educational Leader.
- Promote professional growth and performance development within your team.
What We’re Looking For - Diploma of Children’s Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ full-time experience as a Centre Director (or higher) in a medium-sized service.
- Strong understanding of EYLF, QIP, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in team leadership, performance management and staff development.
- Knowledge of Qikkids (or similar software) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Current WWCC or VIT, plus First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management training.
- Full Australian working rights.
