The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven CNC Machinist to join our highly skilled team on the Gold Coast. This is your chance to work with world-class equipment in a clean, modern environment designed for excellence.
You'll be programming and operating:
· Mazak E-500H Integrex multifunction CNC machine,
· New bar-fed Okuma LB3000 CNC Lathe, and
· Existing Okuma CNC Millac Mills and LB4000 Lathe combinations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to exact specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
• Mentor apprentices and junior machinists
Skills & Experience
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
• Experience with Mazak and/or Okuma CNC machines (Okuma highly regarded)
• Proficiency in Mazatrol, Okuma IGF, or G-code programming
• Strong understanding of CNC Mill and Lathe tooling
• Experience in tight-tolerance machining and thread cutting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with hydraulic cylinder manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
