About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee mining operators at the Sino Iron Mine in WA. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient production, and supporting a high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support mining plant operators to achieve production and safety targets
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and incident reviews
- Foster a positive team culture built on communication, safety, and accountability
- Liaise with client representatives to maintain strong working relationships
Requirements
- Current S26 Supervisor Qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience as both an operator and supervisor in mining support operations
- Strong understanding of mobile plant capabilities (dozers, loaders, haul trucks water carts, etc.)
- Proven commitment to safety leadership and positive team engagement
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work an 8/6 dayshift roster
