About Us:
At Elevate Forklift and Access, we specialize in material handling equipment Sale, Service and Hire. We're currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Mechanic to join our team and keep ours and our customers equipment operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of forklifts (gas, diesel, electric)
Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services
Respond to service calls on-site and in the workshop (as needed)
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role (minimum 3 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Valid driver's license (required for field work)
Own set of hand tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
Trade certificate in a similar trade (technical training/certification is a plus)
Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
