About the Role
We're seeking skilled oxy cutters for ongoing work with a reputable steel manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic operation that values precision, safety, and teamwork.
Shift Details
- Training Phase: Day shift- 6am to 2:30pm
- Ongoing Roster: Afternoon shift - 2:00pm - 12:30am
- Pay Rates:
- Day shift (during training): $52.62
- Afternoon shift: $60.52
- 16% Superannuation
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out oxy cutting tasks with precision and safety
- Operate steel cutting machinery and tools
- Perform regular heavy lifting as part of the job
- Read prints and diagrams and follow to specifications
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of proven oxy cutting experience
- Solid understanding of steel cutting equipment
- Able to work in outdoor environments and all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- High attention to detail and safety standards
- Mechanical aptitude
- Reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute
