About the role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Officer to join our team in Perth. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of ANZAC House. This is a crucial position that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our organisation and the delivery of exceptional services to our members.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and oversee all facilities management activities, including cleaning, security, maintenance, and repairs
Manage and liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and effective completion of work
Conduct regular inspections of ANZAC House to identify any issues or areas for improvement
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to proactively address potential problems
Manage budgets and procurement for facilities-related expenses
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Provide input and recommendations for facilities-related projects and initiatives
Assist with the coordination of events and activities hosted at our properties
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a facilities management or property management role
Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of facilities management software and technologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management, property management, or a related field would be highly regarded
Tertiary qualification in facilities management, building services, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain within 6 months
