Electrician – Residential, Commercial & Industrial
Location: Rockhampton & Capricorn Coast
About the Role
Demco Electrical is seeking motivated and skilled Electricians to join our team servicing the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects in a role that offers variety, job security, and long-term career growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work will include:
Installations – Delivering high-quality installations for new builds, renovations, and commercial fit-outs. This includes switchboards, lighting, power distribution, data cabling, and machinery wiring across homes, offices, retail, warehouses, and industrial sites.
Maintenance & Repairs – Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance to keep systems safe and efficient, including fault finding, component replacement, system upgrades, and servicing control panels and plant equipment.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identifying and resolving issues across domestic switchboards, commercial emergency lighting, and complex industrial control systems.
Safety & Compliance – Ensuring all work meets AS/NZS 3000 standards, local regulations, and WHS requirements.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Current Queensland Electrical Worker Licence
Demonstrated experience in residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical work
Strong technical knowledge with a practical approach to problem-solving
Great communication and customer service skills
A proactive commitment to safety and risk management
Reliability, punctuality, and strong organisational skills
Current Construction White Card
Valid First Aid and CPR/LVR certifications
A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Full Australian working rights
