ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Pump Fitter to support dewatering activities across our underground mines at Bullant, Enterprise, Tuart and Federal. This role is responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of critical underground dewatering infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable and continuous water management to support production and development activities.
Working both independently and alongside our Electrical, Operations and Environmental teams, you will provide hands-on mechanical support that keeps our underground environments safe, dry and compliant.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
Install, maintain and operate underground dewatering systems including pumps, Mono pumps, sumps, pipelines and wells.
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to optimise equipment reliability.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maintain safe operations.
Monitor system performance and adjust flow or equipment to ensure efficient water control.
Complete accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections and system conditions.
Assist with pump relocations, pipe construction and site water-management planning.
Ensure compliance with water discharge requirements and environmental standards.
Collaborate with Underground Operations, Electrical and Maintenance teams to deliver timely, safe and effective work.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter).
1-2 years of experience in dewatering, water management, or related fields including poly welding, AIC technician work, pump fitting, or pipeline installation.
(underground experience highly regarded).
Strong experience with pumps including mono pumps, pipelines and water-management systems.
Sound mechanical knowledge with basic electrical awareness.
Ability to work autonomously in a demanding underground environment.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Effective communication and reporting capability.
Current C-Class Driver's Licence (required for travel between sites).
Desirable: High Risk Work Licences (dogging, rigging, forklift).

Receive up to $5k site allowance per annum, depending on your site location.
