About the Role:
  
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrative Officer to support the day-to-day operations of Curtin’s Centre for Learning Enterprise and Partnership Engagement (CLEPE). As the first point of contact for CLEPE, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative functions and support services across the area.
  
In this role, you will coordinate a broad range of administrative activities and provide comprehensive support to staff, including the Director, Centre for Learning Enterprise and Partnership Engagement, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the area's operations. You will assist with meetings, events, documentation, projects, and stakeholder engagement, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver a professional, responsive, and high-quality service.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Director, Centre for Learning Enterprise & Partnership Engagement and other relevant stakeholders within the area.
  • Act as the first point of contact for CLEPE, responding to and triaging enquiries to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery across CLEPE.
  • Coordinate meetings, local events and stakeholder engagements, and managing the diaries and commitments of senior staff, where required.
  • Prepare, coordinate and distribute reports, briefing papers, minutes, agendas and other key documentation.
  • Support the planning and delivery of events and activities, including sourcing and organising venues, catering, suppliers and promotional materials.
We are looking for (selection criteria):
  • Experience coordinating a wide range of administrative activities within a busy team or functional area.
  • High level organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse audiences with cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in determining appropriate actions.
  • Experience working in a university or large, complex organisation (desirable).
  • Experience working with CRMs or other workflow management technologies (desirable).
Role Requirements:
  1. As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
