The Job
Reporting directly to Toby (Owner Operator), this permanent role as the Senior Gardener will be required to perform a variety of work with a strong focus on garden maintenance and some landscape construction in both residential and commercial settings.
Daily activities will include but not limited to:
Garden maintenance (mowing, hedging, pruning, blowing)
Planting - providing labour and advice for replanting gardens
Re-turfing - prep and laying
Small scale landscape construction projects
All tools and equipment will be provided, In however you must have access to a car along with a valid drivers license (and no outstanding driving suspensions) as well as steel capped boots and relevant PPE. Work shirts will be provided.
About you
You will have previous professional experience as a Gardener working in garden and/or landscaping within a residential or commercial setting.
Other skills and experience include:
A positive and upbeat attitude and enthusiasm for what you do
Strong work ethic - punctual, reliable and honest
A friendly manner, with strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team mates
Ability to work as a team along with autonomously
An eye for detail
Full Australian working rights
Cert III Landscape Construction or Horticulture or relevant qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
