Cirka are a leading provider of venue and events cleaning services and we are currently looking for reliable and hardworking new team members to join our Venue & Events team in Melbourne. We have exciting opportunities working at upcoming world class events:
Melbourne Royal Show - September at the Melbourne Showgrounds (Flemington)
Cox Plate - October at the Mooney Valley Racecourse
Melbourne Cup Carnival - November at the Flemington Racecourse
To be considered for our events cleaning team you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service approach and ability to follow directions. Experience in cleaning is not essential as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided. We have a variety of shift schedules from early morning, day shift, evening and overnight across Monday to Sunday including the public holidays.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a high standard of cleaning for internal and external areas.
Rubbish collection and disposal from around the venue.
Cleaning of toilet facilities.
Clearing and wiping tables.
Vacuuming and mopping floors.
Following instructions from your Supervisor and reporting any issues.
Working in a safe and collaborative manner with your team.
Contributing to a memorable experience for event patrons.
About You
Reliable & Punctual.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Adequate physical fitness to complete manual labour tasks.
Willing to learn new skills and complete a wide variety of cleaning tasks.
Comprehensive English communication skills.
Working With Children Check required to work at the Show in September.
Police check required for all employees.
