AVM Group is on the lookout for a team of experienced High Voltage Auto Electricians and Underground Specialist Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Fitters to support our Principal Miners and Tier 1 Mining Contractors.

High Voltage Auto Electricians & Underground Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Fitters highly sought after for these roles. We have some of the biggest names in Mining calling for our skilled and experienced trades!

Responsibilities / Duties

• Expert High Voltage Auto Electricians wanted - Drive Success with your Expertise! You will work across a diverse fleet of battery-electric equipment and hybrid machines

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• Scheduled maintenance on a large fleet of Underground Mining Equipment including Loaders, Sandvik Drills, Atlas Drills, Epiroc Trucks & Normet equipment

• Running diagnostics and testing specialist diesel machinery & equipment

• Expertise in Heavy Diesel Mechanics and fitting

• Ensure all machinery meets the highest standards of safety and performance

• Field service and Underground workshop maintenance

• Experience working on Heavy mobile equipment

High Voltage Auto Electricians - rates on offer $105ph and above with 5 years experience.

Rates on offer up to $100ph with 5 years plus Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic experience.

That's a rate from between $185,000 - $230,000!! Depending on experience! on a week on week off roster, so you can spend quality time at home with the family. No more weeks away at a time!

Full Time or Casual roles available.

Skills / Requirements

• Trade qualified High Voltage Electrician - WA Recognised or equivalent

• Australian Recognised Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent (Cert 3 and above)

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Mobile Plant Technology or Equivalent (Cert 3 and above)

• WA Electrical license

• HV Switching Ticket - highly advantageous

• Legal Working rights in Australia

• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screening

• Minimum 2 years experience in Mining Maintenance

• Valid WA Drivers license C class minimum

• Strong knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical systems - HD Mechanics

• Strong fault finding and diagnostic experience - you can work well under pressure - Auto Electricians
