Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various fixed manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a mix of modern and legacy equipment.
- Execute scheduled servicing, inspections, and overhauls, including occasional equipment upgrades and project work.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with production team to identify root causes and deliver permanent fixes for operational issues.
- Uphold safety standards and accurately document all maintenance activities.
- Qualified Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
- Proven experience in a heavy industrial setting, including fault finding, maintenance, and repair of fixed machinery and equipment.
- Skilled in both routine maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
- Experience with machine installation and project work is a plus.
- Restricted Electrical Licence is desired.
- $50-$55/hr or roster package option with allowances and loading - $108K - $110K + Super
- Flexible hours - Choose from 4/4 roster on permanent day shift or a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, with regular overtime available
