We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Inspector to join our growing team, to perform Vehicle Inspections in accordance with Department of Transport requirements.

This is a full-time position - Mon - Fri 7AM - 3PM
Experience and qualification in the licensing inspection sector is an advantage but not essential as training and guidance will be provided to obtain Vehicle Examiner Certification.
The successful applicant MUST HAVE the following:
HV trade qualifications with repairers’ certificate HVW
Basic computer and sound written skills
HR or HC unrestricted Western Australian driver’s license.
A mechanical aptitude for most makes and models
Self-motivated and a strong Work Ethic
Able to obtain a police clearance
Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
Commitment to workplace OH&S
Duties and responsibilities include:
Carry out heavy vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT requirements
Complete the relevant DOT forms
Enter all inspections into VIS
Provide a premium level of service to our customers

Providing support to our metro operations, particularly around Solar energy works
Providing support to our regional operations, specifically our South West and Pilbara operations
Working and ensuring project execution is conducted safely to required standards and schedule
Conducting routine Health and Safety pre-start checks prior to commencing works
Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations
Installation of devices and instruments and other electrical components
Carry out cable terminations, as well as cable tray, ladder and conduit installations,
Abstraction/injection bore installation, cable jointing testing commissioning
HV/LV installation all wiring and commissioning/ telemetry / communications
