Job description
Barminco are seeking applications from Boilermakers to join our experienced and highly skilled maintenance team across our remote Australian operations. The position will provide metal fabrication support to the maintenance team.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working on heavy-duty machinery including earthmoving, Agricultural Equipment and Heavy Road Transport.
  • Repairs and general maintenance with buckets and tray repairs.
  • Maintain work areas.
  • Underground and mining experience desirable.
  • Relevant Trade Certificate necessary
  • A valid Working at Heights (or the ability to obtain).
  • A valid manual Australian driver licence.
  • Ability to obtain National Police Clearance.

Rowland Street Boat Trimmers (part of Harbourside Solutions group) is a well-known and growing business and is looking for a highly skilled Marine Trimmer to join our team to meet the demand for our work. 

As an experienced Marine Trimmer, you will have the ability to complete a variety of work, from custom marine trimming on site at marinas, to biminis, canopies, all over covers and clears on smaller, trailerable boats at our workshop in Slacks Creek. 

We work with some of the best known boat brands and dealers in the region, trimming new builds; as well as servicing the wider boating community for their personal watercraft needs.

Responsibilities

You will have a full trim shop for support and use. We expect a mix of  your time will be spent in the workshop, as well as out at marinas- measuring, marking, sewing and fitting for larger boats. You will be largely focused on manufacturing boat covers, biminis, extensions, canopies and clears including making frames/bows, with support in the wider team.

About you

  • Previous Marine Trimming experience (mobile and workshop-based)
