The Opportunity
As the Onslow Iron operation continues to ramp and achieve name plate capacity there is an immediate requirement for additional Heavy Vehicle Fitters to join them on site team. You will be working in fast paced workshop environment alongside a close-knit team of Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers & Trade assistants. This will be 2/1 Roster working both day & night shift with charted flights provided from Perth.

Our Onslow Iron project is set to redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative tran-shipping.
Taking shape 150 kilometres east of Onslow, the project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.
The project will encompass the Ken’s Bore mine (approximately 150km from Onslow), Onslow Port infrastructure and Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility.

Duties & responsibilities:
In this role, the Trainee Driller will be pivotal in water bore drilling operations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with hands-on involvement in every stage of the process.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
assisting the Driller in all aspects of water bore drilling operations
operating/maintaining our drilling rig, ensuring safe & efficient performance
setting up/packing up equipment at job sites as needed
participation in drilling/casing/developing finished water bores
driving our rig and equipment to/from sites (incl. off-road driving)
contributing to a safe and successful team environment.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential (Tamborine/Brisbane residency highly preferred)
Previous water bore drilling experience essential (diamond core/oil & gas drilling experience may not be sufficient)
Current HR driver’s license essential
Proven off-road driving skills essential
Ability to handle a variety of tasks beyond direct drilling where needed
Self-sufficient approach to work.

We are seeking experienced machine operators to join our production team. This position is based in Moranbah QLD, with camp-style accommodation and meals provided. Flexible roster arrangements, with 12-hour shifts. The hourly rate will be discussed during the interview and will be determined by your experience. This role is available for an immediate start.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;
Bogger - RPL Records on 2900 essential (cant accept Sandvik experience sorry)
Minimum 12 months experience operating Bogger 2900 is required, RCT an advantage.
A National Police Clearance under 12 months will be required as well as GSDU clearance.
Manual Drivers Licence
You must be able to provide your RPL records.
A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test paid for by Taurus.
